Could you help us find a home for every child who needs one in Scotland? We are looking for a strategic leader with a breadth of communication skills, and with a proven track record of pioneering new work with church and commissioning stakeholders to initiate, coordinate, and oversee the work of Home for Good across Scotland.
This includes extending a network of staff and volunteers and working towards inspiring and supporting Christians in their exploration of adoption, fostering and support. Raising the profile and reach of Home for Good into new regions across Scotland is imperative, with potential for line-management oversight of new Scottish local coordinators. Working with a wide range of churches and statutory agencies across Scotland, the postholder will expand the missional aims of Home for Good, by helping to find a home for every child who needs one through fostering, adoption, and supported lodgings.
This role will require regular travel throughout Scotland, and occasional travel within the rest of the UK. When not out and about, the postholder will be based from home.
