Wellbeing Co-ordinator (25 hours) based in Chelmsford  

Salary:  £26,000 per annum               Pro rated for 25 hours per week.

An exciting opportunity to work with Home-Start Essex

We are seeking a Wellbeing Co-ordinator for 25 hours per week over 5 days based in our Chelmsford office who will be responsible for delivering a Wellbeing programme across several areas in Essex.

Home-Start Essex is a leading family support organisation that provides high-quality
family-led services for those with children under 8 years old. By offering a range of services we support families to overcome a range of issues such as anxiety, isolation, domestic abuse, mental health, financial stress, school readiness.

We are seeking a professional Wellbeing Co-ordinator to plan, organise and implement our Wellbeing programme including, but not limited to, Wellbeing Groups, Workshops, Creches and Counselling to help parents to overcome difficulties and improve family life.

The successful candidate must have a professional counselling qualification with a registered/accredited organisation and have at least 2 years experience to run groups and projects and manage a team. 

Relevant previous or current employment experience including working with parents and/or families and the use of own car (expenses paid) is essential.

Salary:                         £26,000 per annum pro rated for part time hours
Working hours:          25 hours per week over 5 days.

Knowledge of office systems, excellent management and communication skills and an understanding of the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged families are essential.

An enhanced DBS check and suitable references are required.
