Job description

Home-Start Slough is a family support service built on trusted relationships and rooted in the community. We believe in empowering families to improve their lives, with our support. We are at an exciting time in our development: our service is evolving and there is an exciting period of expansion ahead of us.

We are currently looking for a creative, passionate, and inspirational Senior Scheme Manager who has experience in both securing funds and managing a great team of staff to deliver a support service to families where they need it most.

Reporting to and supported by a strong and capable Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for leading the operation: managing the employees and volunteers, fundraising and report-writing. Your vision will drive further development and diversification of our services. This is a role in which you can really make a difference to our team, our volunteers, and our families.

Key to your success will be your ability to develop and lead a team, and to secure substantial future funding. You will have experience of a leadership role and have a collaborative and inclusive approach. Experience of working in the charity sector and/or supporting families/children is an essential requirement.
