Grants Partnerships Officer

We are looking for a well organised, capable and collaborative Grants Partnerships Officer with strong written and verbal communication skills to join our high performing Grants Partnerships team. The team are on track to raise £5 million in 2020, from a range of trusts, foundations and statutory organisations in partnerships with our Programmes teams.

Position: Grants Partnerships Officer
Location: Flexible, with travel to our main office near Salisbury and to London
Job type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (we will consider part-time, e.g. 30 hours per week)
Salary: £24,610 to £28,550 (plus London weighting of £3,610, if applicable).

About the role:

Situated in our high performing Grants Partnerships Team the Grants Partnerships Officer role is key to our success. You will independently manage a portfolio of relationships with small and medium trusts and foundations while also providing critical support for reporting, proposal development and stewardship for our high value relationships. A key part of the role will involve team and cross departmental initiatives including the coordination of restricted funding for our country programmes and the development of proposals and reports for ‘priority’ projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and a genuine passion for our work. You will have a keen interest in development work, enjoy the process of compiling and presenting narrative and numerical information about our projects and have the drive and commitment to deliver against deadlines as well as a truly collaborative approach. You will also be self-aware, well organised, able to work autonomously and to thrive within a culture which is solution-orientated, agile and has integrity, courage and excellence at its heart.
