We are seeking a highly organised, confident and meticulous person to fulfil the vital role of Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Ben Cooley, CEO and Founder of Hope for Justice, has a strong and passionate vision for driving the organisation forward in its global strategy and growth. This role will suit someone who thrives off pace and energy and enjoys working in an agile environment. In order to support the CEO the Executive Assistant will need to work proactively and promptly in numerous areas of the CEO office whilst ensuring professionalism and confidentiality. This will include identifying great connections and supporting Ben during and in advance of high level meetings with the likes of; government officials, celebrities, donors, church leaders, high profile business contacts and other key stakeholders globally.
Ben’s Executive Assistant will also work to undertake secretariat duties for the Board of Trustees and Committees, as well as supporting on the organisational governance, therefore previous experience of company secretarial duties is advantageous. The role involves providing comprehensive support and guidance to the CEO, including anticipating his needs, as well as providing critical thinking to problems.
This is a senior role within Hope for Justice and as such it requires at least seven years’ experience in a similar position reporting directly to senior management, plus sound experience of establishing positive and productive relationships at a senior level and having the tact and diplomacy to ensure these relationships are maintained effectively. Desirable experience would include overseeing budgets and expenses and developing internal processes and systems for the smooth running of the Executive office.
