Job description

We are looking for someone to join our team who will have a passion for the homeless and empowering our tenants towards living a fulfilled life and moving on to independent living.We provide supported housing in the Portsmouth area to those who are homeless or insecurely housed. 

Key Responsibilities

You will need to be able to work alongside the tenants supporting with their needs, including poor mental health, past offending, and drug and alcohol dependency issues.  You will be working with church leaders and church members as each home is partnered with a local church who provide volunteers who you will also support. This will include training, equipping and encouraging them for their role as mentors and befrienders to the tenants and giving practical support.

As a Church and Tenant Empowerment Worker you will manage tenant journeys from referral to move-on, working with them to agree development plans and with church volunteers to provide support to tenants as they move towards these goals.
