Are you an experienced community fundraiser with the skills and experience to deliver large-scale community campaigns? Do you have an interest in developing digital fundraising platforms to help generate new voluntary income for the charity? Are you a team player, who is self-motivated and resilient and enjoys building long lasting relationships with charity supporters?
If so, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the fundraising team at John Taylor and Birmingham St Mary’s Hospices, who are working in partnership to deliver end of life and palliative care across Birmingham and Sandwell.
The Community Campaigns and Digital Fundraising Manager will develop and deliver a programme of mass participation community campaigns that will help to put the John Taylor and Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice brands on the map in Birmingham and Sandwell. The post holder will be responsible for growing existing campaigns, including the ever growing Treecycling and raffles, as well as identifying and presenting new opportunities for mass participation campaigns.
In addition, this role will also be responsible for innovating and generating new income from digital fundraising, ensuring all new opportunities are maximised and that a gold standard supporter journey is in place for supporters who chose to fundraising for us online.
Reporting directly to the Senior Community & Corporate Fundraising Manager, this role will be pivotal in the creation, implementation and evaluation of the charity’s community fundraising strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a portfolio of large-scale community campaigns, with proven success in achieving participant and income targets. You should also have knowledge and experience of working with a range of suppliers and volunteers and have a proven ability to build relationships at all levels. Experience of using CRMs systems is also advantageous.
