Job description

The Hospice Charity Partnership, formed from Birmingham St Mary’s and John Taylor Hospices, is looking for a talented marketing professional to join its busy, enthusiastic and high performing Income Generation team. 

Reporting to the Income Generation Director, and working closely with all fundraising and retail managers, this role is responsible for raising the profile of key fundraising campaigns, events and appeals, for both the Birmingham St Mary’s and John Taylor Hospice brands, as well as support the marketing activities of the retail chain of 20 shops.

This exciting role will require the post holder to build effective relationships internally and externally and create inspiring communications across all online and offline channels. The successful applicant will need to understand our tone of voice, brand guidelines and key messages in order to tell the charity’s story and motivate donors, customers and volunteers to engage and support the charity. A keen eye for detail and experience in producing marketing collateral as well as delivering digital marketing campaigns is also required.

Continuing to raise substantial voluntary funds is key to the future success of the charity and marketing is a crucial support to this.
