Hospiscare has an opportunity for a Head of Marketing and Communications to join their team in Searle House, Exeter. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary starting at £37,570 per annum.
We are a highly respected local charity, providing outstanding palliative and end of life care to patients throughout Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Sales in our shops make a vital contribution towards the £6.2 million we need to raise each year to keep this much needed service going.
What you will be doing as our Head of Marketing and Communications:
The Marketing and Communications Team play a central part in making sure Hospiscare is well known, has a recognisable brand and all communications across diverse media, support the income generation required to provide high quality care. Working closely to our values and alongside a wide range of colleagues and disciplines, from clinicians to retail, the team are responsible for a compelling approach across all communications that attracts and retains loyalty from local communities and supporters.
Skills and characteristics required to become our Head of Marketing and Communications:
You would need to have significant experience of working in marketing, communications or PR, with a Level 5 relevant qualification and people management skills. You would be responsible for devising, implementing and maintaining Hospiscare’s overall communications and marketing strategy. You would lead all aspects of communications and marketing, including line management of the team, which includes volunteers, and management of specialist external suppliers.
