About ICT at Hope into Action
ICT is critical to delivery of the Hope into Action vision of every church lovingly making a home for those experiencing homelessness. We have experienced rapid growth across the UK and are now in 35 towns. Our ICT provides a vital window for each town in the Hope into Action network of people, policies, document storage and training resources. Our internal ICT capacity is mission critical. Our first line helpdesk is outsourced. This role will take the lead on several key projects that will ready out ICT infrastructure for the next phase of growth.
About the role
Our ICT Network Lead is both a strategic and user-empowering role. For this role, you would be someone who is flexible with an ability to keep systems running smoothly whilst at the same time pursuing improvements.
Hope into Action has a strong culture of continual improvement and pursuing excellence. Working with the Head of Operations, you will immediately focus on the implementation of our HOPE Processes project to enable all our projects to realise significant efficiencies in managing significant numbers of processes connected to our houses, tenants, investors and donors.
Whilst progressing other projects, you will oversee the induction and training of new staff and franchise partners. You will manage the outsourcing of IT contracts, including help desk, finance, CRM databases, mobiles, landline, internet and printers / copiers. Oversee the on-going development of the SharePoint Online site as a robust efficient tool for day-to-day use. You will introduce new ways to monitor the satisfaction with ICT across the network and take responsibility for data security.

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our Relationship Fundraising Department for a 3 year fixed term contract. The role sits within an 11 person Corporate Fundraising team, which has an overall target of £3.5m.
It is a truly exciting time to be joining Centrepoint, as we work towards our vision to end youth homelessness by 2037. Partnerships and support from our corporate partners are a key part of making this vision a reality.
The Partnerships Manager will primarily be responsible for managing a new and exciting multi-year strategic partnership. This new partnership will be the largest multi-year partnership in Centrepoint’s corporate portfolio and will be transformational for Centrepoint and the young people we work with.
Working between our offices as well as our corporate partner’s office (an hour from London by train), to fully integrate yourself with the organisation, you will be the account manager and main point of contact leading on the successful delivery of all aspects of the partnership. This will include building upon existing plans and relationships and implementing new strategies to achieve targets and objectives for the partnership.
You will be an ambitious and driven account manager with extensive experience at a 6 figure plus level high profile strategic partnerships. Experience managing complex partnerships, ideally with a marketing or consumer-facing element, is beneficial. You will be comfortable developing and delivering partnership strategies and objectives, and working in a target driven environment. You will be an excellent communicator and networker, with the ability to form strong relationships externally and internally, including engaging with a range of stakeholders at senior management level.
In particular, the post holder will:
· Lead on the successful delivery of this partnership in line with the agreed objectives by providing first class account management and strategic planning;
· Produce annual plans, budgets and KPIs to effectively manage the partnership;
· Track, analyse and report on income and expenditure, and measure, manage and report on partnership performance against set KPIs;
· Produce engaging, inspiring and accurate reports and updates which are tailored to meet the needs and interests of the partnership;
· Create and maintain effective communication channels and processes that keep everyone informed, involved and engaged in the partnership both internally and externally;
· Develop effective working relationships with a range of cross functional teams and key internal and external stakeholders, including: Head of Relationship Fundraising, Director(s) of Fundraising and Housing, Head of Communications, Centrepoint Programme Leads.
· Oversee the Partnership Group, made up of senior internal stakeholders who oversee the governance of the partnership, as well as the Performance and Monitoring Group who support the programme, finance and reporting delivery for the partnership.
· Represent Centrepoint and the partnership at our own and third party events.
· Actively participate in all team meetings and support other team members.
· Potentially manage other corporate partnership accounts as required.
· Work from partner office (an hour by train from London) at least twice a month.

Reporting to the Head of Development, the Development Manager will take an active role in building a robust and sustainable major donor and corporate fundraising programme to help us expand our work across the UK over the coming years. They will work closely with the Head of Development to establish new and exciting partnerships with high-net-worth individuals and companies who align with our values, to grow income sustainably and guarantee the long-term stability of the organisation. As well as these two key areas, the role will also oversee the individual giving programme as a whole, including the fan club and online digital appeals, with the support of the Communications and Operations Officer.

Individual Giving
- Oversee the Big Give Christmas campaign in December.
- Manage and develop the Choir with No Name fan club (regular giver programme), agreeing and achieving recruitment and attrition targets.
- Working with the Communications and Operations Officer, develop and promote digital giving appeals.
- Manage the Choir with No Name supporter database (eTapestry) ensuring donor data is kept up to date and is accurate.
- Work with the finance and data administrator to produce accurate and timely monthly donation reports for our bookkeeper.
General
- Contribute to the annual fundraising strategy, alongside the Head of Development and CEO.
- Develop a robust fundraising pipeline and stewardship plan to generate sustainable income in line with our targets and strategy.
- Evaluate fundraising activities, embedding a test and learn approach across all projects.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for funders and Trustees.
- Ensure donation data is accurately recorded in accordance with data protection regulations.

We have recently received funding from the National Lottery to build our participation programme to support choir members and people from the wider community work together to create safe, accessible and inclusive choir communities, as well as contribute to the national direction of the Choir with No Name. We are looking for someone to take on this exciting new role to lead the development of our participation programme at a national level as our Community Participation Manager. This role will work with our six current choirs and build a foundation for all future choirs.
As an organisation, we are committed to moving towards greater co-creation of choirs with people with experience of homelessness. This role is a crucial part of this journey.

Participation framework
- Carry out a skills audit across all our choirs to understand what skills are needed to run each choir with greater involvement from choir members, facilitated by choir managers. This will include discovering what skills choirs have amongst their existing member and volunteer communities, and what support and training could be shared.
- Research other organisations’ participation frameworks and volunteer programmes to identify ways in which the Choir with No Name can learn from others in the sector.
- Identify a range of tasks, roles, and responsibilities (being clear about the distinction between the these) that members and people in the community can take part in to support the running of the choir, along with the training they would need to do so.
- Identify healthy ways to step down from roles and responsibilities.
- Design and pilot a framework of roles, responsibilities and tasks, and associated training and support, before rolling out nationally across all our choirs.
Existing volunteer programme
- Evaluate our existing volunteering programme, listening to our volunteer team about their experience as a volunteer, identifying areas for development.
- Develop the existing volunteer programme to support and value volunteers and to incorporate our new approach to co-creation and co-production.
- Work with our existing volunteers in a transition from the current programme into the participation framework, whilst continuing communicating the value and importance of volunteers within the Choir with No Name.
Manage volunteer communications
- Develop and manage accessible communications to ensure volunteers are equipped with the tools they need to do their roles (training, policies, support) and feel valued (thanks and recognition for their hard work). This could include:
- A regular email to volunteers
- An online portal for volunteers to access whenever they need
- Regular meetings for volunteers to keep them up to date with what is going on in the organisation and to share practice
Volunteer recruitment, induction, training and data
- Lead on national volunteer recruitment and support local recruitment carried out by Choir Managers.
- Develop, with choir members and volunteers, a training programme to support roles within choir. This training should come in a range of forms, and where possible, led or informed by choir members.
- Manage volunteer data, including developing our data management system (currently Monday, but we are considering using Plinth), ensuring:
- Inductions are completed consistently and reviewed for long term volunteers.
- Training is implemented and kept up to date.
- Volunteer data is managed in a central database so we can effectively communicate, track and understand our impact.
- Reporting on volunteer numbers and other information is provided to the Senior Management Team and board.
Other
- Support the development of the Board Experience Programme and the Member Advisory Panel, led by the CEO and Head of Programmes.
- Work towards the Investing in Volunteers or Kings Award for Voluntary Service.
- Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Choir with No Name within the scope of the role.

The Exempt Accommodation Support Service is a new project based at our main hub in Digbeth but providing outreach support across a number of locations in the city. We are looking for housing and substance misuse workers to provide flexible, person-centred support to people aged 18 years plus who are homeless, have a history of homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless. It will primarily be supporting people living in exempt accommodation who have support needs relating to addiction and who are in active treatment or contemplating treatment.
The aims of this service are to provide additional support to improve access and sustainment of suitable accommodation for people engaging in structured drug and alcohol treatment, to reduce the scale of unmet housing need for this group of clients and to build evidence of housing-related need and effective interventions. The service will provide a range of practical support around finances, health and wellbeing, access to volunteering or training opportunities and integration into local communities as well as supporting continued engagement with treatment and tenancy sustainment.
This post is for 35 hours per week fixed term for one year initially.
This post requires to :-
Provide a person centred service to individuals taking a psychologically informed approach to advice and support ensuring that clients are given choice and control about how their support is delivered.
Assist with practical support such as travel issues, settling into accommodation and addressing any immediate accommodation issues.
Ensure individuals have access to key services, including health care, substance misuse, and wellbeing services.
Manage an active caseload of clients, keeping effective and up to date records and monitoring outcomes through our CRM database system.
To support with timely reporting information regarding visits, support plans and session notes
To work with clients in first step of their recovery pathway, to provide individualised and strengths based support to promote their ongoing engagement in treatment and sustainment of tenancies to support this.
Working alongside our Housing Transitions Team to raise any issues around the standards and quality of exempt accommodation and to work collaboratively with providers to resolve concerns.
Signpost and refer clients into appropriate support services locally or citywide, to ensure they are able to access the support they need to stay safe and to start to live a healthier, happier life.
Build effective, positive rapport with clients, maintaining professional boundaries and fostering trust.
Work alongside and in partnership with other advice hubs and Housing Options teams based at other sites across the city to process referrals quickly and efficiently and to work collaboratively with other agencies and organisations to ensure high quality service delivery.
Support the Team Lead and Service Manager to monitor the take up and impact of service and the client journey, including case studies and data capture.
Work alongside volunteers and other staff teams to provide a safe, inclusive, effective and supportive service.
To assist client in arears such as budgeting and money management, benefits claims and understanding their housing rights and responsibilities.
Ensure safeguarding issues are accurately identified and reported promptly in line with SIFA Fireside’s Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults policy.
Keep up to date with relevant legislation, training and best practice and to work in alignment with the organisational values and in accordance with SIFA Fireside policies and procedures.

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Young Person’s Worker. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing support to at-risk young people who are experiencing homelessness.

To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with experience of working within a reception or administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who understands the issues faced by homeless people and is excited to learn about the ways we can support them. You will be able to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs, to reach a positive resolution through a calm and confident approach.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups and individuals. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and all the other activities taking place within the building.
