About the role
You will work closely with our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and senior management team to ensure good outcomes for our service users during an ambitious expansion programme.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Team Leader to assist the Service Manager in overseeing the operational running and leadership and management of our staff team at our residential centre (Farm Place) in Surrey.
The role of the Senior Team Leader is to work proactively, creatively and effectively alongside the Service Manager and our staff team and young people to develop their skills and strengths to help them gain the confidence they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
This is a Deputy Manager role, you will be expected to effectively lead, motivate and inspire the staff team to facilitate a high quality programme for our young people and be committed to excellent outcomes for young people. To ensure the smooth transition and induction of all new residents to the centre, you will be required to assist with supervised drug and/or alcohol testing.

We are looking for an operations manager to help oversee our existing projects as well as those in development, along with ensuring smooth day-to-day operations remain smooth. Our ops manager will support our staff, admin, and volunteer team leaders to ensure they feel supported and empowered in their roles, The role will also undertake and ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of our funded projects so that we can maintain positive relationships with our current funders and confidently seek relationships with new funders.
You will be someone who is compassionate and has a real understanding and empathy around the determinants of poverty and you will want to make a tangible difference to peoples' lives. You will be a creative thinker, with excellent data analysis skills and a high emotional intelligence. You will be confident managing multiple projects and able to maintain focus on both the day-to-day running of our core projects, such as the foodbank, as well as implementing and overseeing shorter term and one-off funded projects.
You will be confident working with people across multiple levels of the organisation, including key stakeholders, and feel empowered to make suggestions and recommendations to our board of trustees. You will also be someone who is well organised, with good people skills, as well as willing to engage with service users and key partners in finding solutions to emerging issues effecting peoples' lives, such as the cost of living crisis.

Overall purpose of the post:

This is a key role in our client's Operations team conducting safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments. In the role you will work with your Area Manager as a key business partner who plans and implements to optimise organisational performance in Health, Safety & Compliance.
You will lead their small five-person in-house Building Safety / Maintenace team including three mobile maintenance operatives who provide reactive maintenance work and decorating etc over our eight hostels and some small satellite locations. The Assistant Housing Manager reports to the Housing Manager to support the delivery of operational efficiency across the Company's six residential sites and services for 206 residents, including leasehold. The role will provide excellent customer service to our residents and work to ensure that each site is safe, secure and compliant with regulatory requirements. The AHM will support the development and implementation of new systems and processes and provide guidance on Housing policies and procedures. This role will work closely with the finance team to manage rental income and invoice payment.
The role holder will deputise in the absence of the Housing Manager.
The successful candidate will excel in communication and organisation, displaying a high level of professionalism while effectively building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders. The Hammersmith and Fulham service comprises of one high support hostel and two medium support hostels, housing 24 people experiencing mental ill health who may also have other complex support needs including substance use and offending behaviour or who may present with behaviours which can challenge.
About the role:
The primary role of the project is to enable clients to understand their emotional and mental health needs and manage these effectively. The Project Worker will also support clients to develop their living skills, develop & manage relationships, build social networks and access education, training or employment, by completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments with clients and identifying short-term objectives.
The projects provide support 24 hours a day and are staffed by a Night Concierge and Project Workers, this requires regular weekend working. All work undertaken will be in line with planned support. Staff are responsible for making sure that clients are actively involved in the process and that the support offered is full and holistic.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience of working with people experiencing mental health problems and other complex needs.
- A demonstrable understanding of Mental Health Legislation and how it can be applied.
- A good understanding of safeguarding issues and the ability to undertake comprehensive risk assessments related to this.
- A working knowledge of Housing Management as applied to a residential setting, and an understanding of the rights and responsibilities associated with various forms of tenure including excluded licenses.
