About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Temporary Lead Manager to oversee our client's Floating support services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of dedicated staff members and ensuring the effective service delivery of support to approximately 270 service users, primarily individuals transitioning from temporary accommodation to private rented housing.

- Provide coaching, professional development, and line management support to employees, including performance management and supervision.

The Role
This role will ensure the organisation is following robust financial systems and processes; carry out all day-to-day accounting tasks; and ensure timely production of financial information to inform management decisions. Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Complex Needs Worker to work in a complex needs service for women experiencing homelessness in south London. Due to a rise in female rough sleepers, and the need to safeguard the most vulnerable in society, a new female only rough sleeper service has been commissioned to provide support and ongoing casework to vulnerable women engaged at the service with the aim of rehousing clients into more independent accommodation. The Hammersmith and Fulham service comprises of one high support hostel and two medium support hostels, housing 24 people experiencing mental ill health who may also have other complex support needs including substance use and offending behaviour or who may present with behaviours which can challenge.
About the role:
The primary role of the project is to enable clients to understand their emotional and mental health needs and manage these effectively. The Project Worker will also support clients to develop their living skills, develop & manage relationships, build social networks and access education, training or employment, by completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments with clients and identifying short-term objectives.
The projects provide support 24 hours a day and are staffed by a Night Concierge and Project Workers, this requires regular weekend working. All work undertaken will be in line with planned support. Staff are responsible for making sure that clients are actively involved in the process and that the support offered is full and holistic.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience of working with people experiencing mental health problems and other complex needs.
- A demonstrable understanding of Mental Health Legislation and how it can be applied.
- A good understanding of safeguarding issues and the ability to undertake comprehensive risk assessments related to this.
- A working knowledge of Housing Management as applied to a residential setting, and an understanding of the rights and responsibilities associated with various forms of tenure including excluded licenses.
- A demonstrable understanding of the Recovery Model, and the ability to engage and motivate people to move towards independence and inclusion.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven individual with language proficiency in Romanian or Romany to join our Kingston Outreach Team as a Roma Outreach Worker. In this pivotal role, you will engage in street outreach shifts, assess needs, and deliver personalised case management. It is the beginning of assisting clients on their journey from homelessness to independence.
To be considered for the role of Roma Outreach Worker, you will have:
- Able to speak Romani or Romanian fluently or to a high level.
- Full and clean UK driving licence.
- Good understanding of the Roma communities.
- Experience of working within the homelessness or social care sector.
- Have a creative, solution-focused approach to overcoming challenges.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data management.
- Knowledge of current drug and alcohol provision and relevant services, pathways and conditions.
- Emotional resilience to deal with challenging behaviour and to facilitate ongoing constructive engagement.
- Solid IT skills with the ability to record sound and accurate records in a timely fashion on IT applications such as CHAIN and Inform.
- A commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
- Experience of support planning and risk assessing clients with complex needs, including safeguarding knowledge.
- Able to develop positive and professional working relationships with clients to facilitate the best possible outcomes and address issues of social isolation and exclusion.
- Experience in conducting client assessments and interviews and outcome monitoring.

Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Service Manager to lead a team of Support Workers in a complex needs service for homeless women in a central London borough. The service supports up to 18 female rough sleepers referred to service by local authorities, street outreach services and StreetLink.
Candidate duties:
- Line managing a staff team of up to 8 staff including both day and night support workers in a service with a total of 18 clients
- Conducting staff supervisions, appraisals and performance management
- Working with the service director to deliver the support required for clients both operationally and day to day
- Liaising with external stakeholders and promoting the service across the borough
Candidate needs:
- 2 years experience in line managing staff ideally in a complex needs service for clients experiencing homelessness
- Experience of staff performance management
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of building links and relationships with external support providers and local authority housing services
- A DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months or registered to the online update service

About The Team
Shelter’s Legal Team provide legal expertise and representation across our Services. You will be part of our National Legal Team and will work closely with our Telephone and Online Advice Service (TOAS) to identify trends in issues experienced by people using the service.
About the role
Your role will be to work within the National Legal Team to support the TOAS team to recognise vulnerable clients who need urgent legal help, at the sharpest end of the housing crisis, struggling to advocate for themselves in appalling housing conditions or stuck in temporary accommodation.
Your role will be to provide legal early intervention to clients and families who have safeguarding concerns.
You will act on a consultancy basis for TOAS and provide advice and legal representation on behalf of the client and/or their family, authorising and arranging temporary accommodation and any associated hardship claims. Should a safeguarding referral be made, you will follow up on those referrals to ensure that the appropriate outcome is achieved.
You will also be supported to work with relevant stakeholders to address systemic matters that contribute to homelessness and advocate for systematic change to break the cycle for other vulnerable clients and their families.
About You
Qualified as a Solicitor, you will have a strong knowledge of housing law and be used to managing your caseload including time recording. You will need to meet the Housing/Debt Supervisor standard and have demonstrable experience in litigation and court advocacy, carry out file reviews and be proactive about your professional development and continuous improvement.

Complex Needs Worker
Morgan Hunt are working in collaboration with a leading homelessness charity based in east London who are in search of a Complex Needs Worker to work with in their 35 bed service for clients who have been found recently rough sleeping in the borough and referred by street outreach teams and StreetLink.
Candidate requirements:
- Pro-actively work with a caseload of clients to assess their support needs and put in place well-being plans
- Ensure clients engaged at the service adequately safeguarded whilst at the service against any internal or external risk
- Referring clients to specialist external agencies including drug treatment services, community mental health teams, probation, immigration issues etc to ensure needs of the clients are met
- Partnership working with all clients to best ensure positive outcomes and providing advice and guidance around longer-term housing options for successful resettlement and ongoing support where necessary
Candidate Needs:
- Experience of casework delivery to a caseload of clients with complex support needs
- Experience of conducting needs and risk assessments and putting in place well-being plans
- Ability to present clients with re-housing options based on their support needs
- Assisting clients to obtain their welfare, housing and related rights
