About the role
We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes and to ensure that our organisational policies align with our values (see our CRIN Code). We are a small team of ten employees based in the UK and about five consultants based in the UK and Europe.
What is an HR Manager?
To us, an HR Manager is the go-to person for employee-related matters including job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and talent management.

We would also like an HR Manager to review our organisational policies with a view to ensuring that they embed anti-oppression. For example, this could look at how racism, sexism, ableism, classism and other forms of oppression can manifest themselves in organisational policies and practices - and what changes we might need to make. This is important to us, to ensure that our policies are upholding the values and practices we would like to see in the world, whilst also ensuring they are legally compliant. For CRIN, it’s not just important what we work on, but how we do it - and we want to critically examine the how and what could be improved.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with our values and strategy.

Job Title: Fundraiser

The role:
Our charity is growing, and we are now looking for our first employed Fundraiser who will take the lead on all fundraising activities and will be responsible for helping us raise funds from Trusts and Corporates. The role will be focused on grant bidwriting and will include exploration and development of other partnerships, as well as helping us develop other areas of fundraising activity such as individual giving.
The Fundraiser will be part of a small dedicated team who work to help families and professionals to support children and young people with ADHD. Coordinate review and sign off process and make submissions within the required deadlines of funders.

Maintain databases on grant applications and ensure all applications and related working papers are filed on the central filing system.

Develop and maintain a plan to identify corporates and other parties to partner with either in sponsorship arrangements, seeking donations or becoming a corporates selected charity to receive organisational support.

Caring Dads exists to change current practice to better include fathers in efforts to enhance the safety and well-being of their children. The practitioner will work directly with fathers with an aim to improve relationships with their children, families, and co-parents/carers. This will include promoting the service to a range of teams across Hampshire and Southampton, to generate programme referrals. You will work closely with Hampton Trust domestic abuse perpetrator service to identify client suitability for the Caring Dads programme.
As the Caring Dads Practitioner, you will be required to deliver the Caring Dads and Accredited Domestic Abuse Prevention Training (ADAPT) Programme. This includes one to one support and group work. Groups are delivered on weekday evenings; you will be required to deliver one group work sessions per week.
You will undertake treatment and risk assessments of individuals causing harm in their relationships; this includes active case/risk management of families living with domestic abuse. Although this position is based in Ashurst, you will be co-located into social work teams across Hampshire three days per week, with an aim to providing support and advice in identifying suitable families for the Caring Dads and ADAPT programme.

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Haywards Heath shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. As our Health and Safety Compliance Specialist you will support Scope’s Health and Safety processes in maintaining the highest standard of health and safety across our Retail and Corporate estate.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to work with internal colleagues and the Health and Safety Manager, undertaking key duties to support Scope’s Health and Safety function and compliance. These duties will include site visits and assessments, reporting against health and safety key performance indicators, and investigation into accidents or near misses as appropriate.
Permanent - part time, 21 hours a week

Business Development Manager (Wilder Marches)

The ‘Wilder Marches’ is an iconic cultural and ecological landscape straddling the English Welsh border, broadly defined by the Radnorshire Hills and Clun & NW Herefordshire national landscape character areas. Wilder Marches is also the name of a new initiative to bring about nature’s recovery by creating and restoring habitat at scale in partnership with land managers and other agencies.
The project is currently in a development phase, with the aim of this phase is to create specific projects, to secure funding for expansion, and to begin building a team of land management, green finance advisors, and project officers. One of these workstreams is the establishment of a business model that will be sustainable in the long term. This will be the primary responsibility of the successful candidate to further develop and deliver.
Due to upcoming maternity leave, there is an opportunity to join the Wilder Marches team as Business Development Manager on a fixed term basis.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing new business models leveraging emerging green finance 2 approaches to support nature’s recover to enable long term programme sustainability and delivery.
The candidate will be expected to research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services. They will develop business models and plans to enable sustainable revenue for the programme. The candidate will present findings to the steering board for approval, and then provide a detailed road map to enable delivery of this. Some operational work including establishment of legal structures, development of a customer base and contract management may be required as part of the role.

Based in Smethwick, Brushstrokes Community Project works with asylum seekers, refugees and new communities across Dudley, Sandwell and West Birmingham and has been providing Advice, ESOL, Practical Support, Health information and advocacy and community activities since 1999.
Brushstrokes community project has been providing advice and support for asylum seekers, refugees and new communities for the past 24 years. We require an experienced OISC accredited Immigration Advisor (Level 2 or 3) to join our growing team as part of a Justice Together Initiative funded project in the West Midlands.
With a detailed understanding of immigration law, strong advice and drafting skills you will ensure individuals understand their rights under UK immigration law and are assisted in resolving their immigration matters. Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and communicate complex information to clients that enables them to make informed decisions on their options, you will have a track record that demonstrates a client centred ethos in your work.
Possessing good administration, planning, evaluation and communication skills you will have the ability to develop strong and effective relationships with other agencies. We are seeking a confident and experienced Modern Slavery Case Worker Assistant with a wide range of skills and importantly, a ‘can do’ approach. As a Modern Slavery Case Worker Assistant, you will provide high quality practical and emotional support to potential victims of modern slavery within a safehouse setting.
You will work as a member of the team providing a safe temporary environment for vulnerable adults who have experienced trauma and exploitation. The role will involve assisting service users with increasing practical skills and self-confidence to empower and enable independent and safe living.
This service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must be willing to work flexibly, which will include on call duties, evenings, weekends and bank. Both roles will work between two properties approximately 4 miles apart on a rota basis.
The 30 hour per week post will be shifts from 4pm-10pm, 5 days per week, however, the initial induction will consist of day shifts until knowledge of safe house is comprehensive.
You must have experience of working with vulnerable adults, the ability to work within a ‘risk associated’ environment and ideally experience of working within a residential or community setting with non-UK citizens. Relevant social care qualifications or suitable experience of supporting vulnerable people is essential.

About the role
We’re looking for an engaging, organised, and experienced event manager who is ready to develop their skills by cultivating a broad package of events for people in Wandsworth, organising and engaging across our projects with occasional outreach and online network management.
