Do you want to play a crucial role in a leading UK conservation charity working to protect butterflies, moths and our environment?

The following opportunity has arisen in our Midlands Region
This is an exciting opportunity to build on our work in the Midlands, to help conserve threatened species and habitats in the region.

The main focus of the post will be to maintain our nature reserves, help to deliver our Butterfly Mosaics landscape-scale project in partnership with Severn Trent Water and influence positive management for butterflies and moths, by working closely with partners, volunteers and managers in several of our key landscape areas across the region.

Duties include

- leading conservation management on our reserves in partnership with volunteers, planning and delivery of agri-environment schemes, contractor supervision and organise/deliver surveys and monitoring of threatened species and habitats.

- Good knowledge of butterflies and moths, habitat management and landscape-scale conservation, experience of working with landowners, site managers and volunteers, and excellent communication skills are essential.
