Talking Tree is a Community Interest Company (CIC) established by a group of people concerned about the climate emergency and the urgent need to take positive action to reduce CO2 emissions and establish a different relationship with the Earth on which we all depend. 

As a newly formed CIC we are looking for a Treasurer to

• Oversee the financial affairs of the organisation and ensure they are legal, constitutional and within accepted accounting practice.
• Ensure proper records are kept and that effective financial procedures are in place.
• Monitor and report on the financial health of the organisation.
• Oversee the production of necessary financial reports/returns, accounts and audits.

We are about to open a cafe based at 91 High Street, Staines Upon Thames, TW18 4PQ but this is a remote role. The time commitment is approx 2 hours per week and there will be a regular monthly meeting to attend.
