About Standing Together

Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse is a national charity bringing communities together to end domestic abuse. These agencies include the police, faith communities, criminal justice partners, housing, local authorities, social services, and health.

About the Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA)
The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) was established in 2014 as a partnership between three agencies who are leaders in invocation in address domestic abuse within housing: Standing Together, Peabody and Gentoo housing associations.

The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance’s (DAHA) mission is to improve the housing sector’s response to domestic abuse through the introduction and adoption of an established set of standards and an accreditation process for local authorities and registered social housing providers.

DAHA is a vital component of the wider Whole Housing Approach to domestic abuse. The WHA is model developed by the DAHA-led National Housing and Domestic Abuse Policy and Practice Group, for responding to the diverse needs of survivors in all housing settings and tenure types.

About the role
