Our organisation is on an incredibly exciting trajectory and the Business Development Unit have supported the organisation to increase its turnover from £23m in 2016-17 to £38m in 2018-19. Following a highly successful re-brand to Humankind in 2018 and an ambitious 5-year strategy, we are recruiting a Business Development Officer within our driven Business Development Unit to help us continue to achieve these ambitions.
With existing experience in a bid writing or grant fundraising role, you will support the Business Development Unit to produce winning bids and grant applications for new/existing contracts and services. The successful applicant will become part of a highly supportive, positive and hard-working team and will benefit from personalised training and development from the outset.
You will need excellent written/verbal communication skills and an eagerness to learn. You will be highly organised and self-motivated with outstanding attention to detail. Most importantly, you will be passionate about supporting people with a wide range of needs to tackle barriers to reaching their full potential.
