We are looking for an experienced, proactive and creative Head of Communications and Marketing to develop, implement and evaluate the charity’s communication and marketing strategy.
The post holder will oversee the design and delivery of effective and engaging communications and marketing activity across a variety of channels, targeting different audiences and tailoring communication and marketing appropriately. They will work over a longer term to maximise the Huntington’s Disease Association’s profile and recognition and deepen relationships with key audiences.

The Huntington's Disease Association is the only organisation across England and Wales offering support to people affected by Huntington's disease. Huntington's disease is a life-limiting, genetic disorder that causes the breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. This leads to symptoms affecting three main areas, movement, behaviour and cognition. The charity is committed to educating families and professionals about this rare and complex disease.
Based in central Liverpool, the post holder will work from the Charity’s Head Office, and will have the option to work from home for a maximum of two days per week.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a DBS check for enhanced disclosure.
