Job description

Are you a digital marketing expert ready to put your skills into action to achieve progressive change? We're recruiting for a part time (21 hours per week) digital marketing specialist to join the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), the global leading institute for research, teaching and learning, and impact and communications, based at the University of Sussex. Reach a global audience and inspire action as part of our communications team.

The Communications and Support Officer – events and digital – is responsible for a range of marketing communications activities that improve awareness and engagement with the institute, its research, learning, fundraising and partnership opportunities. Applicants will have demonstrated digital marketing experience including experience in digital content production. Strong all-round communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with multimedia and design skills.

We can consider applications for hybrid / part remote working from candidates able to work 40 - 60% of their time in the IDS building.
