ILF Scotland’s goal is to make independent living a reality for all disabled people living in Scotland and Northern Ireland. We do this through:
- The ILF Scotland 2015 fund, which provides on-going monthly awards to disabled adults, and;
- The ILF Scotland Transition Fund, which provides one-off grants to young disabled people.
At all times we aim to provide excellent and flexible customer service.
99% of our fund recipients say that their funding from ILF Scotland improves their quality of life. The role of ILF Scotland’s Assessors is, in essence, to work with our recipients, and our statutory partners, to maximise the impact of the fund for each individual, at all times maintaining a focus on independent living.
The successful candidate will hold an appropriate professional qualification (Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Learning Disability/Psychiatric Nursing) and have significant post-qualification experience in care management or an equivalent role. You will also be an excellent communicator at all levels, with an ability to have sometimes difficult conversations in a sensitive and empathetic manner.
If you believe you have what it takes to join ILF Scotland, at what is a critical point in our journey, and to succeed in this vital role, please contact the BTA recruitment team today for further information.
