IMIX wants to change the conversation about migration and refugees to create a more welcoming society. We do this by supporting organisations up and down the country, and in Northern France, which are focused on supporting refugees and migrants.
We’re looking for a strategic communications expert to join the team and lead our framing and messaging work. Your main priority will be supporting people with lived experience and frontline groups working with people seeking asylum to change the narrative around ‘migrant crossings’. The project is ambitious and much needed. You’ll have the support of a small but supportive and dynamic team. You will need to:
- be a natural and experienced storyteller across all media platforms.
- understand the power of verbal, written and visual narratives to accelerate change.
- be creative, passionate, motivated and enthusiastic.
- appreciate the importance of measuring impact. You know how to build strategies that bring about behaviour change
We’re particularly keen to hear from people with lived experience of migration.
