Job description

Independent Age works to ensure that as we grow older, we all have the opportunity to live well with dignity, choice and purpose.  To achieve this we provide information, advice and connection services for older people; campaign on the issues that matter most to them around health and care, poverty and loneliness and provide capacity building support to others working in the sector.

We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager to lead on internal communications across the charity.  By business partnering with senior managers and using structured planning processes, you will ensure expert communications that align with, and support, our strategy and cultivate a culture of engagement and belonging.  

With demonstrable experience of operating successfully in a similar role, you must have excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to manage competing priorities to tight deadlines, and be skilled in coordinating communications across, and managing, multiple internal communication channels.
