Job description

It’s an incredibly exciting time to join Independent Age and help make an impact on the lives of older people. This role is a central role within the charity. Working closely with the Operations Manager and the Operations Co-ordinator, the postholder will collaborate across the organisation and support projects to embed outstanding practice in the key disciplines of Facilities, Reception, Procurement, Annuitants’ Support and Central Administration. The ethos of the Corporate Services directorate is very much to establish the best ways of working that enable other colleagues to achieve their objectives.

With experience of working in an administrative role providing a range of administration and support services, you should have excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise a range of tasks.  You will have the ability to work flexibly and autonomously to balance work across multiple teams meeting challenging deadlines, and have strong customer service experience.  With excellent attention to detail including the ability to accurately record complex data, you must be solutions focussed and be able to deal with issues in a proactive manner.
