IRMO works to enable the development, agency, and participation of Latin Americans and other Spanish and Portuguese speakers, by responding to both immediate needs and structural inequalities. We do this by offering high-quality information and advice services, opportunities for development and training, and a platform to seek social and systemic change. Our work is organised across three main operational areas - Advice and Casework; Education, Training and Employment; Children and Young People - and a cross-cutting area - Advocacy, Research, Policy Mapping and Campaigning.
About the Role
This is a varied and fast-paced position with a high level of responsibility. The post holder will play an integral role in the smooth running of the organisation and the delivery of high-quality services to our users. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of finances; health and safety, IT and facilities; and HR; as well as the management of our Health and Wellbeing Projects and our Welcome Area.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team, the post holder will also play an important role in supporting the implementation of organisational projects and strategies, including IRMO's Business Plan and Communications Strategy; developing policies and procedures; and ensuring quality standards are adhered to.
We aim at all times to recruit the person who is most suited to the job and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from people who identify as members of minoritised groups, and from Latin Americans and people with lived experience of the immigration and asylum system, to reflect the community we serve.
