Cumbria
£19,729 - £23,560 per year
Contract, Full-time
Job description

Inspira is currently recruiting Progression Coaches to work with our existing delivery teams to support NEET Young People throughout Cumbria.

Progression Coaches will manage their own case load and take swift action to re-engage young people who are NEET, offering tailored packages of support to mitigate the risk of long-term disengagement in order to meet contractual targets.  This role will undertake individual diagnostic work and the provision of information, advice and support using knowledge of the education system, local labour market and barriers to employment faced by young people.

Successful candidates will have experience of working with young people, either on a one-to-one basis or with groups.  The ability to engage, empathise, motivate, and inspire young people is essential along with the ability of establishing and maintaining effective working partnerships.  This role requires strong organisation and time management skills along with good attention to detail.

Whilst not essential for this role, we would be interested to hear from practitioners qualified to level 4 or level 6 in careers information, advice and guidance.
