About the role
We’re looking for a Programme Officer to join our Delivery Team and facilitate a wide range of work-related programmes across schools in Hackney and surrounding boroughs.
Our Delivery Team is responsible for developing our school and employer relationships in the local community, providing high-quality, fit-for-purpose activities to support the career prospects of young people.
As a Programme Officer, you will act as a key point of liaison between employers and schools, proactively engaging a range of professional volunteers to support our work and maintaining high standards of service at all times.
Adapting our delivery for students with a range of additional needs will be key, and you'll be confident in supporting employers to tailor our programmes effectively.
You will also deliver engaging briefing sessions and gather feedback from students and employers alike, working with both parties to ensure the smooth delivery of our programmes from start to finish.
Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and with previous experience working with young people, you are passionate about enabling all young people to access vital work-related experiences.
A natural collaborator with excellent communication skills, you enjoy interacting with a range of people and can maintain positive working relationships with everyone you work with.
With excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail, you are confident in managing multiple deadlines and able to coordinate the work of others in the team.
You are also aware of the current secondary school landscape and a range of equalities issues, able to demonstrate sensitivity to a variety of different needs.
You’ll ideally be familiar with behaviour management strategies too, with an adaptable approach to your work and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
