We are looking to recruit a Housing Support Worker to join our Darlington Parents and Young Families Service.

Our teams of support workers provide housing-related support services to a wide range of groups. Support is tailored to help address individual need and is designed to maximise their independence whilst working towards their successful move-on into independent living.

You will be joining the Darlington Team working with vulnerable families with sometimes complex needs who are homeless and maybe experiencing isolation and safeguarding issues.

You will be responsible for a caseload of clients with a variety of needs and will provide high-quality support. Your approach to supporting people will be recovery focused, enabling people to make lasting changes and achieve their personal goals.

You will have a creative attitude to your work and possess the skills to build positive therapeutic relationships.

Every day is different, you will get a buzz from the variety of challenges you’ll face each shift and make a real difference to the lives of service users.

What's essential is that you love what you do. We want you to enjoy coming to work every day and to care about your job, your colleagues and our service users.

If you think you can do a remarkable job for us, then we'd love to hear from you.

You will be joining Foundation, whose core values are: People, Passion, Collaboration and Integrity.

We aim for our workforce to reflect the diverse and exciting region we serve.
