We are seeking a experienced and skilled Communications Manager to join IOP’s communications team as we move forward with our integrated and strategic approach to communications and marketing.

- To collaborate effectively with internal and stakeholders and to motivate and manage a small team
The Communication Manager will be responsible for the development of cross channel messaging and creating communications plans and activities that will raise the IOP’s profile, support our policy and influencing objectives and contribute to the delivery of our ambitious strategy.
- Creating and delivering impactful, effective communications campaigns and activity to support the delivery of our strategy and objectives.
- Developing and helping to coordinate the organisation’s media profile and social media engagement and developing nuanced messaging for member, policy, internal and public audiences will be a key part of this role.
We are looking for a talented Communication Manager who will contribute to the development of IOP’s communications function and support the delivery of our strategy. You will work at the heart of the IOP Communications team, advise colleagues and internal ‘clients’ and provide support and counsel on communications, media and reputation issues.
A natural collaborator, you will work with the Communications team, Senior Communications Manager and colleagues across the Communications and Marketing, C&M managers and across the department to ensure an integrated and joined up approach.
You will have a proven track record of delivering high quality and effective communications campaigns and activity, superb interpersonal and influencing skills and a drive to empower others to achieve their goals and outcomes.
