Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for an Interim Finance Officer to work within a well established charity based in London. The role is due to last for a period of six months based on a fixed term basis, with the view to transfer to permanent appointment.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in the operation of the charity and its programmes. As the Interim Finance Officer you will have responsibility for the following duties; coding and processing invoices, preparing payments for the BACS run, completing reconciliation of balance sheet, bank accounts and credit card transactions, and maintaining all ledgers such as purchase, sales and general.
The ideal candidate will strive to help the charity achieve its goals. In particular, the successful individual will need to take ownership for delivering on small projects and managing tasks with minimal supervision. They will also be a strong communicator and able to convey finance information to non-finance staff. Being a proficient user of Sage 50 and having previous experience and involvement in office administration is essential for this role.
