Would you like to help send donated medicines around the world to those who do not have access to live-saving medicines? IHP is recruiting a Logistics Officer to become part of our growing logistics team who coordinate the safe and responsible donation of medical products to where the needs are greatest, so that people don’t suffer needlessly from treatable illnesses.
As a Logistics Officer you will play an integral role in IHP’s work arranging the shipping of donated medicines and medical supplies, for example our essential health packs and antibiotics, ensuring their secure transportation to diaster hit and vulnerable communities such as Sudan and Gaza.
Your responsibilites will include:
- Securing cost effective shipping quotes from some of the largest freightforwarders in the UK
- Preparing shipping documentation
- Ensuring shipping files are accurate and kept up to date
- Communicating regularly with our donor companies and receiving NGO partners
- Updating offers on our management system
Who you are:
- You'll have administrative/record keeping experience or demonstable transferable skills
- A dedicated team player who enjoys working well in a small team as well as autonomously
- Adaptable and can meet competing priorities, deadlines and tagets
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy and be numerically minded (Intermediate Excel skills desirable)

The Senior Programme Funding Officer role sits within the External Engagement Department and will be responsible for the majority of the team administration. The role will be working closely with the Senior Fundraising Manger and Head of Programme Fundraising to identify and approach new donors, coordinate cross team proposals and support on the development of trips and events. A critical part of the role is also managing the Foundation’s CRM (Raisers’ Edge) system across the organisation.
You will be line managed and supported day-to-day by the Senior Fundraising Manager, who will work with you to upskill and develop you in the charity sector. This is a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of the team. It can offer you the opportunity to develop your fundraising skills and gain experience in international development, as well as the opportunity to meet a diverse range of interesting stakeholders.

Raising Futures Kenya is an award-winning small UK charity, working closely alongside a wonderful partner NGO in Kenya to deliver a hugely successful vocational training and business skills programme called Seed of Hope.
Since 2002 Seed of Hope has supported over 4,000 disadvantaged young people aged 14-25 in Kenya with the opportunity to learn a skilled trade, computer skills and business skills. Many of these young people are unable to finish their formal education as they are experiencing poverty, so our courses are completely free, to ensure no-one is excluded from the opportunity to learn.

We are looking for a talented storyteller and writer to join our small team in the UK and create exceptional content. You’ll support with crafting engaging funding applications, which stand out from the crowd and capture the funders hearts. You’ll create bright and positive social media and blog posts to share the uplifting stories of students and graduates from Seed of Hope and grow our online supporter base, in turn increasing our donors.
We don’t mind if you don’t have charity experience, we’re willing to train you and show you what we do. We are looking for someone who can write excellent content and showcase what we do.
Hours: 14 hours per week, to be worked as either full 7 hour days, or spreading the hours across the week. Regular days and hours to be agreed in advance.
Salary: £28,000 (pro-rata for 14 hours a week)
Pension: 3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution (opt-out available).
Contract: 1 year fixed term contract. With a view to making it permanent if resources allow.
Base: The role will be home-based and require your own computer. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, expenses will be paid in accordance with our Expenses Policy. We take collective action alongside women’s rights organisations, feminist movements and activists in Eastern and Southern Africa and South Asia. Currently, Womankind has staff based in Kenya and the UK. This position is located in the UK. While hybrid working arrangements are available, the successful applicant will be expected to spend 2-3 days per week working from Womankind’s London office (frequency to be agreed with successful candidate). Role Purpose
The intern will provide general support to the programmes and learning team, including with administration of programmes and grant compliance, partner communications, logistics and (online) event organisation. Reporting Structure
This role sits within the Programmes and Learning (P&L) team, which is part of the broader Policy, Programmes and Learning Team (PPL). The intern will provide support to colleagues across P&L and report to the Programme Management Officer, with a dotted line to the Programme Manager: Innovation and Partnerships.

Ivy Rock Partners is delighted to be supporting a leading global development organisation with the recruitment of two Program Finance Officers to support the Programme Finance Manager in running an efficient and effective programme financial management and reporting processes in relation to their programmes and grants.
About the role
As Programme Finance Officer you will provide support to the full life cycle of grants: from donor concept proposals to final reports. You will maintain a close working relationship with all finance and programme teams and relevant staff across their international network and external donors. You will prepare financial information for internal reporting purposes, including the quarterly CEO report, monthly dashboards, and quarterly cash balance reports.
You will oversee the grants management and compliance processes, including maintaining the grants management tracker to ensure they are properly recorded and monitored. You will review budgets for proposals and make recommendations for improvements and liaise with the programme/partnerships team to ensure they are complete, accurate and compliant with donor requirements.
You will also carry out any other duties as assigned by the Programme Finance Manager or the Head of Finance and Operations. The role will involve travel to countries in which we operate grants. Normally this could be 2 – 3 trips per year lasting 7/10 days.
About you
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience working within international charities or donor agencies and have a good understanding of grant accounting
- Experience working with EC, ECHO, DFID or equivalent and have familiarity with compliance rules
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience working within financial accounting and financial reporting in a charitable context
