About the role
The postholder will have a unique opportunity to lead delivery of our communications strategy, supporting the delivery of our organisational objectives and ensuring we maximise our 20th anniversary year to raise IHP’s profile and grow our community.
You’ll manage a small, but fantastic team of committed communications professionals, whilst working alongside other teams to effectively tell IHP’s story, and the stories of those we serve. You’ll work with our fundraising team to collaborate on fundraising campaigns, our Corporate Partnerships team to engage pharmaceutical and logistics partners in new and exciting ways, and our Programmes team to work directly with NGO partners to gather content and demonstrate our impact through effective storytelling.
You will also be a part of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for setting the strategic vision and direction of the organisation. This is a temporary role as a maternity cover starting in July 2024.
What you’ll be working on
- Lead on IHP’s 20th anniversary campaign including overseeing a pivotal stakeholder engagement event
- Implement and embed IHP’s newly developed brand identity across the organisation and across external channels.
-Oversee the marketing strategy for our self-designed and revolutionary software system, Boaz, helping to reach new customers and position as a leader in its field.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders to develop communications opportunities and amplify IHP’s voice including employee engagement opportunities.
- Manage relationship with our social media agency to effectively execute IHP’s communications objectives and grow our audiences and engagement.
- Oversee the marketing delivery of our annual Christmas fundraising campaign.
Essential knowledge/transferable skills and experience:
- Demonstrable and successful communications experience
- Management level experience
- Marketing and brand awareness experience
- Knowledge of social media and how to utilise to maximise communication and engagement strength
- Proven track record of effective management of resources, including planning and coordination of staffing and budgetary resources
- Excellent IT skills to communicate effectively and efficiently

Raising Futures Kenya is an award-winning small UK charity, working closely alongside a wonderful partner NGO in Kenya to deliver a hugely successful vocational training and business skills programme called Seed of Hope.
Since 2002 Seed of Hope has supported over 4,000 disadvantaged young people aged 14-25 in Kenya with the opportunity to learn a skilled trade, computer skills and business skills. Many of these young people are unable to finish their formal education as they are experiencing poverty, so our courses are completely free, to ensure no-one is excluded from the opportunity to learn.

We are looking for a talented storyteller and writer to join our small team in the UK and create exceptional content. You’ll support with crafting engaging funding applications, which stand out from the crowd and capture the funders hearts. You’ll create bright and positive social media and blog posts to share the uplifting stories of students and graduates from Seed of Hope and grow our online supporter base, in turn increasing our donors.
We don’t mind if you don’t have charity experience, we’re willing to train you and show you what we do. We are looking for someone who can write excellent content and showcase what we do.
Hours: 14 hours per week, to be worked as either full 7 hour days, or spreading the hours across the week. Regular days and hours to be agreed in advance.
Salary: £28,000 (pro-rata for 14 hours a week)
Pension: 3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution (opt-out available).
Contract: 1 year fixed term contract. With a view to making it permanent if resources allow.
Base: The role will be home-based and require your own computer. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, expenses will be paid in accordance with our Expenses Policy. Our other 2 part-time staff are based in Sussex, but you can be anywhere in the UK. You must have the right to work in the UK.

About the Team:

About the Role:

You will provide a service to management and support the implementation and embedding of our ethical check process.
This enables us to:
- work with partners, suppliers and contractors who align with WaterAid values
- be globally compliant with our ethical check standards
In this role, you'll :
Ethical Research and Management
- You will lead on the management and implementation of our ethical check and due diligence process to support WaterAid's overall risk management.
- This includes:
- Researching third party suppliers, partners and donors to ensure they are aligned with WaterAid global ethical standards and do not pose unacceptable reputational risk
- Managing and developing the ethical check process across the WaterAid federation
- Continuing to embed WaterAid's Global Ethical Standards by ensuring that the ethical check process is understood and applied consistently across the WaterAid Federation
Compliance
- Keeping up to date with knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act, GDPR and ICO guidelines, as well as any other relevant legislation and guidelines and their impact on fundraising and charity law.
- Embedding best practice in all areas related to compliance, ensuring the effectiveness and accuracy of processes in accordance with the Data Protection Act, GDPR and other applicable legislation or regulation (alongside WaterAid's Fundraising Compliance Manager and the Data Protection Manager).
Relationship/stakeholder management and ways of working
- Collaborate with WaterAid teams in the UK and globally, including communications and fundraising teams, advocacy and country programme teams, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure WaterAid is delivering a robust due diligence process.
- Maintain productive working relationships across WaterAid to enable an effective due diligence process and delivery of research requirements.
About You:
- Educated to degree-level/equivalent educational standard, or significant equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of the role of research in can play in protecting the reputation and future proofing WaterAid
- Good knowledge and applied understanding of GDPR implications, ethical checks and other related compliance issues
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and ensuring information is recorded in compliance with GDPR
- Experience using a range of research methodologies and tools to complete due diligence checks, and manage WaterAid's resources for ethical and reputational risk
- Very strong research and analytical skills, including ability to produce detailed and insightful research
- Ability to analyse complex information and communicate clearly and credibly deliver simply for a variety of audiences in written reports, presentations and meetings
- Stakeholder management knowhow to build and maintain great working relationships at all levels, and influence, internally and externally
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Experience of working in an international organisation
- Experience of working with fundraising functions

IRW’s Network Resource and Development Division is recruiting for the position of ‘Communications Capacity Building Manager’ to join its dynamic Global Family Development team on a full-time, permanent basis, to based out of any of our IR offices globally.
The Communications Capacity Building Manager reports directly to the Global Content Manager and supports the development and implementation of the content vision and strategy. The job holder works primarily with communications colleagues and Country Directors in IR country and hybrid offices to build their capacity and capability in communications, content gathering, media, brand awareness raising and local public engagement. The job holder also works with Member and other IRW stakeholders to ensure the capacity and capabilities in country offices are appropriate for meeting their requirements and business needs.
The role holder also facilitates appropriate communications training for field office staff and acts as an advisor to communications leads in field offices.
The successful candidate must have or be:
· A degree level qualification in communications or a marketing discipline.
· Qualification(s) in media applications would be advantageous.
· Experience in public engagement - communications, fundraising and/or marketing - role(s) within the INGO sector.
· Experience in building and developing use of traditional, new and emerging media channels, technologies and tools especially digital media.
· Experience in visual and other forms of content gathering, curation and dissemination ideally in an international context.
· Experience of managing, overseeing, guiding and coordinating the work of others.
· Proven track record as a project manager, operating within a team with budgetary responsibility and delivering results across a range of activities.
· Experience of managing, building, guiding, training and influencing teams to work collaboratively to a high standard.
· Experience of developing creative brand awareness, fundraising and other marketing campaigns for a variety of audiences.

About the role

The Senior Programme Funding Officer role sits within the External Engagement Department and will be responsible for the majority of the team administration. The role will be working closely with the Senior Fundraising Manger and Head of Programme Fundraising to identify and approach new donors, coordinate cross team proposals and support on the development of trips and events. A critical part of the role is also managing the Foundation’s CRM (Raisers’ Edge) system across the organisation.
You will be line managed and supported day-to-day by the Senior Fundraising Manager, who will work with you to upskill and develop you in the charity sector. This is a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of the team. It can offer you the opportunity to develop your fundraising skills and gain experience in international development, as well as the opportunity to meet a diverse range of interesting stakeholders.

About the role
Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Support Specialist to focus on three key areas; Salesforce Administration, training, and process documentation.

The role will work in close collaboration with our country, regional and policy teams to deliver high-quality, impactful communications about peacebuilding in the places we work and on key topics such as the climate crisis, women’s and LGBT+ inclusion, and conflict-sensitive investment, centering the voices of the people and partners with whom we work.
You’ll be an excellent communicator and strategic thinker, with experience of delivery of communications across a range of channels and media. The Senior Programme Officer for Schools2030 will lead on resource mobilisation for the Schools2030 programme as well as allocation of funding across the programme countries and workstreams. The Programme Quality and Impact (PQI) department works to ensure we deliver high-quality, evidence-based programmes and that we develop technical approaches to achieve positive sector-wide change for children. We work with partners and across the Save the Children movement to provide technical support to programme design and implementation, partnership development and in developing quality standards, technical approaches, and tools.

The Child Protection & Child Rights Governance team aims to raise our ambition and commitment in these two areas and to provide strategic leadership across our portfolios of work. It supports the development and implementation of critically important, high-quality programmes; promotes internal alignment in policy & practice; develops and delivers capacity strengthening support; conducts technical advocacy; and builds strategic partnerships to further our goals. There is a strong focus on quality evidence generation to underpin programme designs and for use in influencing the improvement of policy & practice.
About the Role

As a Senior Adviser you will hold responsibility for leading Save the Children UK's work to protect children from digital harm. You will contribute to the advancement of children's rights in the digital environment, innovating across our programmes, advocating for change and amplifying best practices. You will work closely with children, as well as diverse stakeholders, such as our Taskforce for a Safe Digital Childhood, to develop training curricula, behaviour change strategies and digital solutions, and to influence laws, regulatory policies and technology industry standards to maximise benefits and minimise risks to children in the digital environment.
You will support engagement and partnership with external organisations, companies and constituencies that have skills and experiences in technology and the digital environment that can complement our own, extend our reach, increase our understanding of the issues, and enhance our ability to influence change in ways that make children safer online.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Provide global leadership (e.g., in internal and external working groups) on protection from digital harm and safe digital childhood programming within the Save the Children movement and/or wider sector.
- Co-lead Save the Children's Safe Digital Childhood Task Force
- Lead Save the Children UK's work on protection from digital harm with minimum supervision, reflecting your high-level responsibilities, and articulate a compelling vision to inspire others to achieve our ambitious goals for children.
- Play a leadership role in ensuring programmes embed children's rights in the digital environment into our existing strategies and initiatives, working collaboratively with stakeholders, and particularly with country office and partner staff.
- Champion and drive quality, inclusion, and impact across the work of Save the Children and the wider sector.
- Lead the development and implementation of technical strategies and products (such as best practice approaches, minimum standards, and publications) as they relate to protecting children from digital harm.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships in relation to safe digital childhood programming and advocacy, leading on engagement with partners to amplify impact.
- Deepen and expand relationships with key high-level external stakeholders and build strong working relationships with technical experts, partners and advocacy targets for technical exchange and policy and practice influence.
- Engage with relevant education staff leading on EdTech initiatives to ensure the inclusion of safety and protection considerations for children.
- Provide and facilitate support and capacity strengthening to other technical and programme staff, for example through mentoring, coaching, training, or guidance.
- Contribute to the wider success of Save the Children by providing programme evidence and technical expertise as required to inform and influence country strategies, advocacy, fundraising and communications.
About You
To be successful, it is important that you have the following skills and experience:
- An in-depth understanding of the benefits and risks the digital world poses to children
- Experience and an in-depth understanding of how to protect children from online harm and promote a safe digital environment for children
- Experience of strategically driving programming to protect children from online/offline harm and abuse, monitoring its quality and impact
- A track record of building, maintaining, and developing relationships and networks with a wide range of stakeholders, including technology companies.
- Strong influencing skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior colleagues through the building of cross-organisational relationships and the mobilisation of support for key issues
- Ability to lead and work with colleagues to set a strategic vision, inspire others and securing cross-team engagement for delivery
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an excellent ability to communicate with impact and adapt style for a wide range of audiences with diverse backgrounds and at all levels
- Ability and willingness to travel at least three weeks a year

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter).
