Job description
This organisation supports anonymous recruitment. That means hiding your personal identifying information, removing bias from the hiring process.

The International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) is the only organisation that brings together professional societies of obstetricians and gynaecologists on a global basis. For nearly 70 years FIGO has collaborated with the world's top health and donor bodies. FIGO currently has member societies in more than 130 countries and territories.

FIGO is dedicated to the improvement of women’s health and rights and to the reduction of disparities in healthcare available to women and newborns, as well as to advancing the science and practice of obstetrics and gynaecology. The organisation pursues its mission through advocacy, programmatic activities, capacity strengthening of member societies, education and training.

We are looking to recruit a Committees Coordinator.   This is a new post that will contribute to the continued strategic development of engagement and communications within FIGO, in particular with our divisions and committees. The postholder will help bring greater synergy across the previously separate functions of Communications and Membership.

(For further detail about this role, please review the attached Job Description and Person Specification).

We are an equal opportunities employer and are proud to employ a workforce that reflects the diverse communities we serve. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons from all backgrounds.

Location: The role is based from FIGO House, Waterloo, London SE1. FIGO staff will be working on a trial ‘hybrid’ basis from September 2021 i.e. with combined office and home working.
