Corporate Partnerships Officer

Do you want to be part of supporting vulnerable communities across the globe to access the healthcare they need through the delivery of essential medicines and supplies? Are you highly organised, motivated by your Christian faith and have excellent communication and administration skills that will help us manage relationships with corporate partners to ensure medical aid reaches those who need it?

International Health Partners (IHP) supports people in hard-to-reach, vulnerable and disaster-hit communities to get the medicines they need, by coordinating the safe and responsible donation of long-dated medical products. We work with our strong network of global healthcare, logistics and NGO partners, to source and send treatments to where they are needed most, to help prevent the needless suffering caused by a lack of access to healthcare.  Our work is needed now more than ever. The global outbreak of COVID-19 has further highlighted the urgent need for improving access to medicines and for strengthening health systems.

We are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Officer who will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the medicines donations process and support the day-to-day management of relationships with our corporate donors. This will include liaising with donors on products needed to support our programmes; prospecting new corporate donors; maintaining internal systems; and due diligence processes. The Corporate Partnerships Officer plays a key role in delivering IHP’s effective product donation programme delivering high-quality healthcare products to those in vulnerable and disaster-hit communities so that people don’t suffer needlessly from treatable illnesses.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has an excellent eye for detail, and wants to learn and contribute to a great team. We can offer you a rewarding and varied role, with lots of training and support, in our small but busy team in London. In the last two years, IHP has sent over ten million treatments to vulnerable communities around the world including places such as Yemen, South Sudan and Haiti.

Please view the full job description and person specification for more details about the role.

IHP is an Equal Opportunities Employer. Staff regularly spend time together praying for IHP’s work and there is an occupational requirement for the post holder to have a personal commitment to the Christian faith.  Please make it clear in the application how you meet this requirement.

We offer excellent benefits including a company pension scheme and a generous holiday entitlement. Flexible working opportunities are available with this role.

To apply, please submit your CV and covering letter (letter to be no more than 2 A4 sides) explaining how you meet the person specification. Applications without a covering letter will not be considered.
