Based at our new National Office, this People Care/HR Manager role would ideally suit an individual with a heart to see people in mission thrive; so if you have generalist experience of HR at a management level with a CIPD qualification or equivalent, then read on.
We are looking for a People Care Manager who will:
Ensure a strategic approach to people management within the National Leadership Team of Interserve;
Oversee the provision of Partner Care for overseas and GBI Partners;
Manage the People Care budget and Risk Register;
Lead and manage the People Care staff team;
Monitor and review HR policies and processes;
Interact with International staff and Partners;
Ensure consistency of recruitment models for long and short term mission partners.
We are currently looking for a person who is supportive and team-focused, with a positive outlook. You will need an organised approach to work with good negotiation and influencing skills at all levels. With an inquisitive, open minded approach, you will have the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills with high levels of confidentiality.
The location for this role will be at St John’s House, Alum Rock, Birmingham, where our National Office is relocating mid-October.
