This People Care Manager role would suit an individual with a heart to see people in mission thrive; so if you have experience of Member Care or HR at a management level, then read on.
We are looking for a People Care Manager who will:
Ensure a strategic approach to people management within the National Leadership Team of Interserve;
Oversee the provision of Partner Care for overseas and GBI Partners;
Co-operate and interact with International staff and mission partners to ensure good pastoral support
Lead and manage the People Care staff team;
Monitor and review HR policies and processes;
Manage the People Care budget and Risk Register;
Ensure consistency of recruitment models for long and short term mission partners.
We are currently looking for a person with a heart for mission, who is supportive and team-focused, with a positive outlook. You will need an organised approach to work with good negotiation and influencing skills at all levels. With an inquiring approach, you will have the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills with high levels of confidentiality. Mission field experience would be an advantage.
Salary is £40,733 for full time hours. The location for this role will be at St John’s House, Alum Rock, Birmingham, where the National Office is relocating at the end of October.
