Job description

In 2002 the first IntoUniversity centre was opened at The ClementJames Centre as a local project addressing the needs of the community. Since 2007, IntoUniversity has continued to expand across the country while The ClementJames Centre has continued to develop further its programmes at a local level.

At this exciting time of growth and expansion we’re looking for an experienced professional to join our team as our Safeguarding Manager. The role can be based in either Bristol, Leeds, London or Nottingham.

As the Designated Safeguarding Lead you will be responsible for the management of safeguarding concerns across IntoUniversity and The ClementJames Centre and will provide crucial safeguarding support and guidance to frontline staff who deliver the programmes in both organisations. From September 2020 this role will move to provide exclusive support for IntoUniversity centres and staff as the charity continues to grow.

The role is exciting, challenging and varied. You will have a work history that demonstrates thorough knowledge and capability to manage safeguarding cases in an education setting and may have a background in Social Work. Crucially, you will also have a genuine passion for our mission and values.
