Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an independent humanitarian and development organisation, serving humanity for over 35 years. With an active presence in over 40 countries across the globe, we strive to make the world a better and fairer place for those effected by poverty, conflicts or natural disasters. In the UK, IRW has a partner whose main role is to raise funds, raise awareness, carry out advocacy and support domestic programmes: this partner is called Islamic Relief UK (IRUK).
IRUK is currently recruiting for the position of a Multimedia Content Producer. The role will be responsible for delivering high quality, innovative and expressive multimedia content specifically for communications channels (the media, social media, website and digital media outlets) that reflect IRUK’s work on a national and international level.
The successful candidate must have:
Experience in audio and video production
Experience in photography
Experience in storyboarding and presenting ideas creatively
Experience in artistic production of video titles and graphically animated sequences
Experience in operating a range of photography and video hardware, cameras, tripod, lighting, sound equipment
Experience in editing on both PC and Mac editing suites
Skills in producing soundtracks and overseeing musical scores
Specialist knowledge and a visual eye for using video cameras and lighting to create dramatic effect
Sound knowledge of film making practices at pre-production, production and post-production stages
A working and up-to-date knowledge of professional broadcasting practices and standards
Experience with content gathering through both photography and videography
