Job description

As a leading voluntary sector mental health organisation in Islington, we offer high-quality services to local residents seeking mental health advice and support.

We want everyone to have better mental health and wellbeing, to realise their ambitions, connect to their strength and make the most of their lives, their relationships and their communities.

As the fundraising and Business Development Manager you will hold lead responsibility for the charity’s new business opportunities and income generation, ensuring the development opportunities are effectively maximised.

As the expert on the charity’s business development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the charity’s Business Development and Fundraising strategy, securing regular income through trusts and foundations fundraising applications, and writing and presenting bids and tenders in responses to the cycles of renewal and to new opportunities as they arise

Necessarily, this will be done in collaboration with colleagues who are involved in delivering services as well as with the involvement of service users in the co-production of propositions to funders.

You will also be supported by and responsible for the management of a team of fundraising  volunteers.
