About the Role:

• Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities whilst creating a sense of teamwork by pulling together colleagues with differing skillsets and expertise.
• Implement processes for tracking procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of all IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses. This will require collaboration with our managed service provider.
• Act as the ITSM tool global administrator, assisting country program offices with maintenance, support, access, development of processes & training.
• Develop, update, and enforce IT policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and organisational goals.
• Manage the IT departments hub on the internal intranet platform, ensuring that it provides up-to-date information, news, and resources to employees.
• Oversee the transition of completed IT projects from the internal IT operations team, with potential collaboration from 3rd parties to the MSP service delivery team.
• Collaborate with the finance department to code, integrate, and maintain IT-related financial transactions in the organisation's financial systems ensuring accurate allocation of costs, budgets, and expenses related to IT operations.
• Provide oversight and leadership to the Global IT Operations team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered that meets the needs of the stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain a centralised knowledge base repository containing technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, best practices, and user manuals.
• Ensure that IT policies are communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders and are consistently followed.
• Evaluate and implement automation tools and technologies to streamline repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce human error.
• Develop technical relationships with key suppliers and business partners.
• Ensure that project handover agreements are clearly defined, detailing responsibilities, documentation, support processes, and timelines.
• Develop and manage the IT operations budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

• Experience of working in technical teams delivering complex solutions.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills and experience of liaising with senior stakeholders to deliver activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Be able to demonstrate evidence of delivering successful target operating model improvements.
• Adept at using relevant software tools and platforms for asset management, knowledge base management, project management, and more.

Growing Hope seeks a highly-motivated and experienced Director of Operations who is passionate about our mission. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the charity’s essential operations.

We are a multi-award-winning, creative, and innovative organisation, and the Database Officer is a role at Al-Khair Foundation, sitting within the Database team and delivering on a range of database tasks and processes utilising our Salesforce database. We’re looking for someone who has a good working knowledge of database systems and who understands their importance to organisations like Al-Khair Foundation. Your Role

Al-Khair Foundation uses Salesforce to manage relationships with our donors, supporters, and stakeholders, including recording all donations made to the organisation. Al-Khair Foundation’s Database Officer will be responsible for the monthly delivery of the income and data reconciliation processes for the Fundraising teams, which includes liaising with a wide range of external agencies and the website to successfully download and query files, update and create new supporter records on the database, process cheques and payment requests, and work closely with the Finance team to ensure all anticipated and banked income tallies correctly.

You will also work closely with colleagues in the Database team to support and maintain regular database processes, data cleansing, and other database-related functions that happen on a monthly or quarterly basis. This may include responding to and being responsible for Support Ticket queries in relation to income, data, and/or the database generally and working with external database agencies such as our web platform partners and Salesforce.

Aside from these core duties, from time to time, you may also carry out general administrative tasks on behalf of the Supporter Engagement team. This may include supporting the Supporter Care Assistant during busy periods with customer care via email and telephone and recording updates, processing invoices, and maintaining and updating team rotas and trackers.

Your Responsibilities

• Delivering the monthly data reconciliation and income reconciliation processes, which include downloading and uploading data files.

About the role 

Dementia UK is currently seeking a Database Officer to lead on the delivery of processes within the Database Services team.

As Database officer, your primary responsibility will be managing a substantial volume of data files, from a variety of sources seamlessly importing this information into our fundraising database. You will handle supporter data ensuring a high level of accuracy, while being directly responsible for running the majority of data imports as well as handling enquires coming into the Database Services shared inbox and running regular data cleansing routines.

In addition, you will be expected to maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed. We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join the charity.  This is a newly created position reporting to the Head of IT.  The aim of this role is to encompass the charity’s Helpdesk (1^st through 3^rd line support) and IT Technician responsibilities to include new builds and repairs, network and server maintenance, telecoms improvements as well as project support. This role is based at our head office in Snetterton, Norfolk and will support all our sites across the UK as well as end users abroad. Occasional travel to our four UK sites will be required.

What is Screen Share? 

Screen Share is a grassroots refugee charity which provides laptops, phones, tablets, data, digital skills to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We use the power of volunteering to turn discarded tech into good quality techical tools for refugees to improve their situation on their own terms. We are now launching a laptop refurbishment training programme for refugees in London and are looking for someone to run it and provide ad-hoc technical support to our team of volunteer laptop refurbishers! 

Role overview

Screen Share is looking for a proactive, self-starter and leader to launch a laptop refurbishment training programme for refugees in London, support tech volunteers to remotely refurbish laptops, respond to faults and perceived faults with devices we have provided to service users, and support with sourcing and refurbishing devices.

The postholder will have experience of at least Level 2 laptop repair and an interest in upskilling others in basic laptop refurbishment 

Outcome 1 

Co-design and co-deliver a laptop refurbishment training programme for 40 refugees and asylum seekers in London 

• Co-design a laptop refurbishment training programme for 40 refugees 

• Co-deliver the training programme in London

• Support with the logistics necessary for running a multi-cohort programme

• Create resources for learners and guide them through refurbishment workshops 

Outcome 2 

Respond to reported laptop faults by providing remote support or requesting a return

• Run remote diagnostics with service users whose laptops have developed faults or supposed faults. 

• Make an assessment of whether remote repair is possible or whether return is necessary.

• Engage kindly, patiently, politely and on a trauma-informed basis with service-users.

Outcome 3 

Provide technical support in laptop refurbishment and data destruction for staff, volunteers and prospective laptop donors 

• Be the contact point for tech volunteers and tech trainees who need support with the laptop refurbishment process. 

• Advise prospective tech donors on their data destruction options and best practice.

• Support the Digital Access Project Manager with the technical elements of her role, ensuring the tech volunteers are following the most efficient standardised refurbishment process. 

• Think critically and collaboratively about our existing technical refurbishment process (including software, hardware, peopleware, charityware, and tech disposal),  suggest alternatives to the methods currently used, support their implementation where appropriate and record that process of development. 

• Offer critical reflections on facilitating remote digital skills training. 

Outcome 4

Lead by example by personally maintaining a steady flow of laptop refurbishment

• Receive, refurbish and redistribute laptops and other devices 

• Keep Airtable and other tracking system up to date 

• Communicate consistently with the Digital Access Project Manager on required parts and economical refurbishment

• Engage with Communications team to share the process and impact of laptop refurbishment

Outcome 5 

Support and facilitate the donation of devices 

• Approach and meet with prospective laptop donors, explaining our data destruction and logistics process where necessary

• Communicate confidently to donors about the impact of Screen Share laptops for service users

Salary: £53,968 per annum, rising to £56,809 after 12 months in London. £49,940 per annum, rising to £52,781 after 12 months outside of London.

About the role

We are the largest membership body for voluntary organisations in England. The needs of communities are diverse and ever-changing. This means the role charities play, and what they need, constantly evolve.

​​We hold a wealth of data. We need our data to become meaningful insight that helps tell the story of our members and the sector. Both to aid internal strategic decision making and to influence external audiences.

​​The insight lead will be integral to realising this ambition ‒ combining our analytical and sector research with our internal data. They will establish NCVO’s Insight Hub which will house the highest quality data and insight, and be respected and valued by external stakeholders.

​We’re already revered for our Almanac and other research projects, which the insight lead will further expand. They will also develop the strategy, review our research programme, and embed a culture of using insights across the organisation.

​​This is a dual role. The insight lead will act as a champion for the voice of the customer internally – ensuring business decisions and strategic priorities are based on insight, and that we’re collecting and managing data in the most compliant way.

​They will also take a strong external leadership approach ‒ looking for partners, technologies, AI solutions and funding opportunities so we can strengthen what we know about the sector, and how we report and share information. They will review our existing approach to research and harness opportunities from our unique perspective.

​We’re located a short walk from London King’s Cross station in a modern accessible building overlooking Regent’s Canal.

Conservation Collective (CC) funds solutions to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change. The CC UK charity incubates, launches, and supports locally focused foundations, which open new funding channels to support the most impactful environmental grassroots projects. Our network comprises 20 members based all over the world and is growing.

We manage and monitor our donor relations, grant giving governance, contacts, and event activities, via a bespoke and customised salesforce system. This was launched in September 2021, and has been developed and configured to meet our growing needs since then. As the demand for our model increases around the world, we need a highly capable systems specialist to support us to ensure our data systems are well managed, users are trained, and we can create accurate reports for our donors and other audiences. The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team. This is a critical role that is central to the success of building a robust organisation, and there is opportunity for an ambitious candidate to grow in responsibility with it.

Key Responsibilities:

 Oversee Salesforce System: maintenance, training, development, and reporting

 Maintenance

· Ensure key objects on Salesforce such as accounts, contacts, campaigns and grants are working effectively (ensure process flows work well).

· Maintain reliable records in all objects on Salesforce by eliminating duplicates monthly, processing user deletion requests and updating records for lists with up-to-date information on key stakeholders (e.g. trustees, contractors etc).

· Weekly data back-ups.

· Uploading ad-hoc batch data from Campaigns e.g. Just Giving or historical data into Opportunities.

· Ensure regular data cleaning to enhance the credibility and adoption of the system. Spot trends with issues and feedback into system development or training.

· Oversee data governance log: maintaining log of changes to review with the team, discussing effect on budget and system usage to inform decision making.

 Training and support

· Oversee user set ups, create new user profiles, and share best practices according to GDPR practices.

· Oversee smooth onboarding and training process for new members to ensure effective adoption.

· Keep training materials related to key objects updated, host internal webinars to address new feature introductions or common issues to troubleshoot.

· Promptly troubleshoot any user issues and feeding these into training to prevent it happening again.

· Respond to individual questions from users on Slack and share tips and tricks.

 Automations and Development

· Manage the integration of Form Assembly, ensuring all connectors work well and troubleshoot and update individual forms when needed.

· Support users with the building of individual Form Assembly forms, updating when needed (ad hoc) and embedding them in their websites.

· Perform developments such as creating new fields, updating picklist values, page layouts, forms, automation configuration, formula fields, and other content. Work with core team to assess where a development is foundation specific, and where it should be applied across all users.

· Act as key point of contact with our external Salesforce consultants on any requests of flow maintenance or improvements and monitoring effective use of credits and budgets.

 Reporting

· Build reports and dashboards for each key Object – spot trends and suggest improvements.

o Opportunities - pipeline and income reports for board meetings

o Grants - tracker and applications analysis, extraction of impact data for evaluation purposes

· Provide quarterly diagnoses of user adoption levels across the network.

· Work with exec director to prepare quarterly data for trustee meeting and annual reports.

Manage IT systems with the support of an outsourced consultant

 · Act as a key point of contact with our outsourced IT company, overseeing the creation of new users and managing the leavers’ processes.

• Ensure MS365 systems are working effectively for current users, and troubleshoot issues as a first point of contact before liaising with outsourced providers.

· Maintain an up to date ‘how to guide’ for our intranet, ensuring all users know how to use it and find what they need.

· Recommend Cyber Security improvements.

· Procure IT equipment for team with support of external consultant.

· Maintain an up-to-date list of active users, MS 365 licenses and Antivirus license protection.

· Oversee the IT budget by approving expenses on a regular basis.

· To manage website domains – purchasing new ones on request, performing updates or providing access to web designers.

Essential criteria:

· Passionate about nature and the environment

· Understanding of and experience in Salesforce User Management

· Knowledge/skills in improving business processes, overseeing testing; identifying and implementing systems enhancements.

· Experience of being able to communicate well with and support non-technical colleagues.

· Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

· Ability to work methodically.

· Ability to work quickly and accurately.

· A keen eye for detail.

· Demonstrable ability to work independently.

· Energetic approach to work and a desire to learn.

· Experience in not-for-profit sector

Strongly desirable criteria:

· Salesforce Administration Certificate.

· Salesforce Trailhead badges.

· Awareness of GDPR regulations.

· Comfortable with using MS Office suite, Slack and Canva environments.

· Familiarity with complex accounting models (affiliates, branches, restricted and unrestricted funding).

· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment that is constantly growing and adapting. 

· Being able to speak Spanish, Greek or Italian would be a bonus.
