Bladder Health UK (BHUK) is a small national charity that has developed significantly over the last 10 years. We are now looking for a part-time charity manager who can continue this journey. The role gives a rare opportunity to someone who is enthusiastic to make a difference in this unique space and have a significant impact on both sufferers and healthcare professionals. As charity manager you will need a varied skillset including being able to build and nurture relationships, manage a small team of staff, develop new income streams, create, and develop imaginative projects and use innovative technology to boost the aims and objectives of the charity.
What you would do
Account management of existing and new relationships in the charity sector. • Research and write grant applications. • Support in making decisions and advise on the charity spend. • Work with the BHUK team to tell the story of ‘Bladder Health UK’ via its communication channels. • Support hosting and organising charity events. • Manage the general cashflow for the charity including reporting from a finance perspective. • Work on a multitude of projects throughout the year. • Outreach to relevant charities that the charity wants to work with and build long lasting, meaningful relationships with them. •. • Maintain all contracts, mailing lists, ensuring IT systems are kept up to date, and are compliant. • Manage ongoing governance of the charity, including developing and maintaining policy documents such as our grant making policy, conflict of interest processes, procedures and register, risk management policy and register. • Maintain charity commission register records. You will also be expected to be able to provide and present regular reports to the Trustees on the finance and operational activity of the charity.
To succeed in this post, it is essential that you have:
- Have been involved in charity campaign work previously.
- Have experience in charity operations and governance.
- Have sales /marketing/fundraising experience.
- Be able to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Can demonstrate effective communication skills with ability to liaise with different audiences and be effective at developing long-lasting relationships.
- Evidence that you are highly organised and great with time management.
- Have experience developing social media, websites, and webinars to promote, inform and educate.
It would be desirable that you:
- Have either a clinical background or experience in urology issues.
- Are passionate about making a difference and are willing to understand how amazing our members, volunteers and supporters are.

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. About the role
Dementia UK is currently seeking a Database Officer to lead on the delivery of processes within the Database Services team.
As Database officer, your primary responsibility will be managing a substantial volume of data files, from a variety of sources seamlessly importing this information into our fundraising database. You will handle supporter data ensuring a high level of accuracy, while being directly responsible for running the majority of data imports as well as handling enquires coming into the Database Services shared inbox and running regular data cleansing routines.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain data management standards, assisting with the implementation of processes and policies ensuring best practice is followed. Working with the Supporter Care, Finance, and Fundraising teams to ensure income is accurately coded across all fundraising streams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data protection guidelines including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and will bring previous experience in using databases for data entry, maintenance, and importation. A high level of computer literacy is essential, and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required. Your ability to function effectively within a team, coupled with your initiative in prioritising and organising your workload, will be key to success.

The Role:
The UI/UX designer will be responsible for producing an effective, visually appealing and intuitive digital experience for our donors. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both UI and UX design, with a strong understanding of user-cantered design principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to produce user-centric engaging designs for our new website redesign and upcoming mobile application.
Reporting to the Creative and Brand Manager, you will also act as a guardian of our brand identity.
Responsibilities:
· Create high quality, engaging designs for the new website redesign and upcoming new mobile application which will allow us to better communicate and engage with our donors and potential donors. This is a key project for FY24, and will take up most of your time within this role – key tasks to support our digital transformation include but not limited to:
o Produce wireframes, flows, mock ups and prototypes which put the donor at the heart of the journey.
o Iterate designs based on feedback and user testing.
o Ensure consistency and brand integrity across all design elements.
· Collaborate with developers and marketing professionals to deliver designs based on learnings. You will be part of a team of three creatives, headed up by the Creative and Brand Manager.
· Support in conducting user research and testing.
· Support in creation of other creative assets as needed, especially during our busiest period over Ramadan.
· Communicate ideas and designs through storyboards, site maps and process flows.

About the role
As Supporter CRM Product Owner, you will play a key role in ensuring that the needs of teams across Fundraising, Policy & Social Change, and Commerce & Enterprise are addressed as part of the ongoing CRM Development. You will have experience in establishing new governance processes and ideally a solid foundation in agile ways of working in a user-centred development framework. As the second Product Owner in the Business Systems team, you’ll be a crucial cog in establishing Product Ownership as a discipline in a Systems context.

To help us deliver this strategic ambition, we’re recruiting an Enterprise Portfolio Manager to be responsible for the management and oversight of the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), whose activities collectively ensure the strategic alignment, execution, and performance of the BHF's overall investment in projects and programmes.
In this role, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and other key stakeholders, ensuring BHF optimises the value secured at an enterprise-level, from the delivery of its operational plans to its investment in change and transformation initiatives.
You’ll work closely with staff across the organisation and will monitor and report on the portfolio's health, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource capacity and utilisation, providing guidance and recommendations for portfolio optimisation and improvement.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

About you
With an understanding of portfolio management principles, processes, and methodologies you’ll have an awareness of emerging trends and best practice in portfolio, programme and project management and delivery, as well as specific industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have the following skills and experience:
• Familiarity with organisational governance frameworks and standards (e.g. budgeting cycle, planning and scheduling, etc...) at an enterprise level.

Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, you’ll have strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels of BHF, and influence and motivate teams towards common objectives.
You’ll have strong strategic acumen, able to see the bigger picture, and will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills able to assess complex situations and make insightful, data-driven recommendations.

Your Role
Al-Khair Foundation uses Salesforce to manage relationships with our donors, supporters, and stakeholders, including recording all donations made to the organisation. Al-Khair Foundation’s Database Officer will be responsible for the monthly delivery of the income and data reconciliation processes for the Fundraising teams, which includes liaising with a wide range of external agencies and the website to successfully download and query files, update and create new supporter records on the database, process cheques and payment requests, and work closely with the Finance team to ensure all anticipated and banked income tallies correctly.
You will also work closely with colleagues in the Database team to support and maintain regular database processes, data cleansing, and other database-related functions that happen on a monthly or quarterly basis. This may include responding to and being responsible for Support Ticket queries in relation to income, data, and/or the database generally and working with external database agencies such as our web platform partners and Salesforce.
Aside from these core duties, from time to time, you may also carry out general administrative tasks on behalf of the Supporter Engagement team. This may include supporting the Supporter Care Assistant during busy periods with customer care via email and telephone and recording updates, processing invoices, and maintaining and updating team rotas and trackers.
