Business Development Commercial Manager

If this sounds like you then you could lead the commercial elements of Itad’s business development work. This includes the development of financial proposals and guiding bid teams on overall commercial positioning and strategy.
The Business Development team works across all Practices to identify opportunities that align with our strategic priorities, build relationships with potential client and partner organisations and manage the development of successful proposals for our clients
You will be working with key stakeholders across the business, using your expertise and knowledge gained in International Development to manage the delivery of pre-contract budgets, cashflow plans and commercial proposals for new business opportunities. You will lead the development of complex financial proposals and share this knowledge with the team and wider business through the delivery of learning modules. Expertise in commercial analysis and reporting of key financial metrics is a core part of the role alongside developing commercial narratives and production of client proformas for inclusion in proposals.
Who you are
With a proven track record in the bidding space, you will be used to working to very tight deadlines with a particular focus on detail of accuracy. You are able to flex your communication skills across a wide range of stakeholders to build and develop collaborative working relationships and convey complex financial concepts to non-financial members of the team
The role is based in our offices in Brighton & Hove (East Sussex) but will largely work remotely for the foreseeable future. However, you will already have the right to live and work in the UK and be able to occasionally travel to the office if needed
