Greater London
£50,000 - £60,000 per year plus exceptional pension and leave
Permanent, Full-time
Job description
  • University
  • West London/Middlesex
  • Finance Business Partner
  • £50-60,000 plus exceptional benefits

This is a great role for an ambitious and confident qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) to join a large and complex organisation (over £200m turnover) and actively shape financial strategy during a time of investment in change.

My client is prioritising the importance of hiring someone with an outgoing approach and genuine strategic potential - if you feel this could be you and you like the idea of partnering alongside leading academics, then please do read on.

As a key member of the Finance Business Partner team, this role is to provide professionally qualified support for the management of the University’s financial affairs, ensuring the best use of resources. Contributing to the strategic and operational management of the University, the Finance Business Partner will input into all strategic decisions made to ensure that proper financial attention is being taken into consideration in any major decision affecting the University.

You will report directly into the Director of Finance, while working closely with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Financial Controller.

The role will involve working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, so the ability to communicate and network effectively will be essential. You will also need strong planning, budgeting and forecasting abilities (ideally a proven track record); and you will need to display a genuine interest in working at a university.

Please apply early as interviews will be taking place on an ongoing basis.
