JDRF is the type 1 diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure. We fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. We also provide information for children and adults living with the condition at all stages from diagnosis and beyond. We give a voice to people with type 1 diabetes and campaign for an increased focus on and funding for research to find the cure. Internationally we have funded £1billion of research so far.

As Challenge and Sports Events Manager you will develop new initiatives and work with the Head of Challenge and Sport Events to support both existing and new events. You will assist with the continued growth of our running events, in line with the new strategy and the current sector trends. You will be expected to take a lead role for the JDRF bespoke event Cycle for a Cure bike ride in partnership with Ford and the running events. You will also support the Head of Challenge and Sports Events in leading the London Marathon.
You will provide direction and management to the Challenge Events Coordinator.
You will be part of a team that within the next three years will be delivering income of £1million+ per year.
