Finance Manager (part-time)
Location: Working from home (the role is usually based in our London office in Islington)
Salary: £35,600 - £41,300 pro rata per annum inclusive
Hours: 21 hours per week (days and hours can be discussed at interview)

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our ambitious and growing type 1 diabetes medical research charity, JDRF.
As the Finance Manager, you will contribute to the operation of JDRF by managing its accounts and providing reliable financial data for planning purposes to budget holders and the Senior management team. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is a key position holding the responsibility for delivering reporting accurately within deadlines and proactively contributing towards organisational efficiency.
Alongside the Finance Officer, you will ensure the daily finance operations run smoothly and within deadlines. You will be an experienced finance professional and be fully qualified to at least AAT level, or demonstrably qualified by experience.
You will be proficient with accounting and other software packages including Excel and Sage or equivalents. Both an attention to detail and the ability to have a broad overview of the financial picture of the organisation with strong written and verbal communication skills.
You’ll have previous experience of accounting at a senior level in a charity with significant fundraised income (£1M+), building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and providing information at all levels and working independently and without direct supervision.
An interest in the mission and aspirations of JDRF and the desire to work collaboratively in a small team are highly desirable.
