This is a permanent role.

The type 1 charity, JDRF, is seeking a Fundraising Database Administrator to join our fundraising team.

We care about building lasting relationships with our 21,000 active supporters and we know that our database is critical in helping us to do that. For the right person, this is an opportunity to support our charity in using data to achieve our mission - to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes for the 400,000 people in the UK currently living with the condition.

You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining processes that assist the flow of external sources of data onto our database, supporting the Database and Insight Manager in activities relating to use of our CRM system - particularly with import quality and cleaning processes - and helping your colleagues with analysis and manipulation of data.

You’ll join a small but friendly and driven team at an exciting time as we implement our new Data strategy to transform how we use data to engage our supporters.

We’re looking for a colleague who is proactive, flexible and collaborative to support us in delivering our day-to-day data processes, engaging our supporters and growing our income.

As an employer we offer:

  • Flexible working and will consider compressed hours
  • Generous annual leave entitlement – 25 days and bank holidays
  • Health cash plan
  • Season ticket and cycle loan
  • Pension scheme

A bit more about us. We also provide information for children and adults living with the condition at all stages from diagnosis and beyond.  We give a voice to people with type 1 diabetes and campaign for an increased focus on and funding for research to find the cure.

We want our employees to be committed and prepared to go the extra mile in finding the cure for type 1. Whatever your role is within JDRF you can be guaranteed that your work will always be rewarding.

‘JDRF is an equal opportunity employer, we welcome applications from all individuals regardless of race, gender, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation or age.’
