We’re looking for a Supporter Care Fundraiser to join our newly restructured Individual Giving and Supporter Care team within our ambitious and growing type 1 diabetes charity, JDRF.

With experience working in a Supporter Care team, you’ll be part of a small new team delivering a ‘best-in-class’ supporter experience, from first point of contact and throughout the supporter journey.

We care about our supporters, many of whom are personally connected to our mission, and we know that building relationships is important. At the same time, we want our new stewardship strategy to make use of data-driven principles to optimise relationships and deliver income growth for JDRF.

With the support of the Supporter Care Manager, you’ll help deliver a new stewardship strategy, taking a data-driven relationship fundraising approach to tailor personalised journeys and deliver outstanding supporter experiences.

As part of the Supporter Care team, you’ll jointly manage inbound and outbound communications with supporters, acting as the first point of contact for JDRF and ‘triaging’ supporters. You’ll be offering advice, fundraising materials and support, to maximise income and build lasting relationships.

We’re looking for someone who is 100% supporter-focussed and able to respond to - and champion - our supporters’ needs. You’ll be able to gather information from supporters in a friendly, non-intrusive manner and be skilled in developing, and maintaining relationships working at all levels.

You’ll be friendly, confident, professional and adaptable as you support this brand new team to deliver this exciting change in approach at JDRF.

You’ll have previous experience of:

  • Supporter care in the charity sector
  • Individual Giving and/or Community Fundraising
  • Improving business processes to maximize efficiency
  • Capturing  and using supporter data to make decisions
  • Working to budgets and plans

You will find a vibrant atmosphere and spirited team at JDRF, always striving to make a difference to people living with type 1. Whatever your role is within JDRF you can be guaranteed that your work will always be rewarding.
