Job Description

JDRF is the type 1 diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure.  We fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes.

At JDRF we are an international charity improving the lives of people with type 1 diabetes until we find the cure. We do this by funding research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. We also provide information for children and adults living with the condition at all stages from diagnosis and beyond.  We give a voice to people with type 1 diabetes and campaign for an increased focus on and funding for research to find the cure.

We are looking for a Trusts Fundraiser who will help us achieve our goals through generating income from our existing database of small and medium sized trusts. Working with the Trusts Manager you will also identify, research and approach new trusts and will be responsible for developing bids of up to £100,000. You will prepare funding proposals for research based mailings and send monthly mailings to trusts.

Previous experience in raising funds from trusts, excellent research, written and organisation skills is essential to the role.
