Job description

JRS UK is seeking to recruit a Fundraising Administrator, reporting to the Fundraising Manager. JRS UK has been working with destitute asylum seekers and people held in detention for many years. We are looking for a responsible and experienced Administrator to provide support to the Fundraising team, ensuring we are accurately recording and reporting our income and to steward supporters effectively.

The Fundraising Team Administrator will play a pivotal role in how JRS UK records and monitors our income, and how we steward supporters to accompany JRS UK. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail with previous office experience of income management, is highly numerate and skilled at inputting and exporting financial and personal data, and has strong interpersonal skills to liaise with JRS supporters. We’re looking for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and detail orientated work-ethic.  

This role would suit someone with experience of working in the charitable sector, alongside both staff and volunteers, knowledge of the situation facing asylum seekers in the UK, experience of working in a highly relational way, and enthusiasm for working in a small faith-based organisation.
