Job description

We are recruiting for a project coordinator to run our successful project befriending refugee and asylum-seeking children and young people (JUMP).

We are looking for a self-starter, who can run this valuable project independently. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project, including working with our partner organisations, supporting volunteer befrienders, setting-up and sustaining pairs, helping with their training, helping to write reports to funders and ensuring compliance with protection procedures. You will work with a team of supportive office staff and receive regular supervision from a registered social work manager.

  • 35 hours per week, flexible working hours including occassional weekends.
  • Once the pandemic is over, the job will be based at our office in London, NW11 but you will be expected to travel around London to meet with clients.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS.check.
