Volunteer & Supporter Experience Co-ordinator

Together we are on an exciting journey to deliver equitable end life and palliative care to more people across Birmingham and Sandwell and to help us achieve our vision, we’re looking for skilled and experienced individuals from all communities to join our fundraising team!
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Volunteer & Supporter Experience Co-ordinator to join the Fundraising team at John Taylor and Birmingham St Mary’s Hospices.
This varied role will require the post holder to be influential in developing and overseeing fundraising volunteer requirements at the St Mary’s site whilst also being the face of and main point of contact for St Mary’s Hospice supporters.
You will be supporting and developing a programme of volunteer recruitment, training and retention across the Income Generation and Marketing Team and providing data input & administration support within the supporter experience team all whilst providing a gold standard supporter and volunteer journey.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised and proactive, with experience of Microsoft Office and using CRM systems. You will be a good communicator with the ability to demonstrate tact and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information or situations.
